What is SoGEA broadband?
SoGEA stands for Single Order Generic Ethernet Access which delivers the same performance and data rates as FTTC broadband. IT uses the existing infrastructure which will future-proof the UK as it moves to an all-IP network.
Why do you need SoGEA?
British Telecom will be switching off the existing telephone network completely in 2025, this will be when the current Wholesale Line Rental network will cease to exist.
SoGEA uses the existing fibre/copper network, which makes it available to more than 90% of premises across the United Kingdom.
