Private or Cloud Hosted Session Border Controller
Direct Routing Services allows you to connect between your on-premise PSTN or SIP trunk and Microsoft Phone System for Teams. This is achieved using a physical or virtual Microsoft certified Session Border Controller (SBC) located either on-premise or in the cloud.
The SBC can be hosted to avoid purchasing and storing hardware on-site in three ways:
- Privately hosted in our data centre
- Cloud hosted
- Your private network
